Happy Friday! Can you believe it’s the end of October already? What happened? In just two days it’s going to be Halloween! I swear, it was just yesterday that I was celebrating the release of THE CORPSE IN THE GAZEBO, embracing everything pumpkin and getting all my cozy fleece throws ready for night time snuggling with Connie. Speaking of Connie, I took her yesterday for her a few vaccines and the drive along the windy back road to the town where her vet office is located was so fallish. It wasn’t a bright day, so the colors of the leaves were muted. Many homes had pumpkins and mums while a few had Halloween decorations set out. I love this time of the year. Now with November on the horizon, I can burrow deeper into autumn and that cozy fleece throw.
My faves this week include a podcast, a Instagram account that always makes me smile, the workout of the week, a favorite YouTube channel and my current read. Ready? Let’s get started.
Podcast: Food Blogger Pro. This is a new podcast to me and I listened to their Salem Witch Trials episode. This is one of my favorite podcasts. I enjoy listening to food bloggers share about their journey in blogging and I’m always on the hunt for some new tips. This week I listened to the Hosting Events episode.
Instagram: Poppy_Stitches. I love when when of her captions pops into my feed. I really miss stitching. Maybe I’ll be able to make some time for my cross stitch project later in the year. Fingers-crossed.
Workout: Get Healthy U’s Cardio and Core. Thirty minutes and boom! I got a cardio and core workout. I’m loving these short workouts.
You Tube: Plan with Laken. In this video, Laken shares her first impressions of the HB90 goal setting system. I love checking out all things goal setting, time management and planning, so I was eager to hear what Laken had to say about HB90. Her initial impressions echoed mine. I really love the goal setting portion of HB90 but I don’t think I would use the monthly/weekly/daily portions of the system. So I’m still on the fence of whether to purchase it.
My current read: Finlay Donovan Is Killing It by Elle Cosimano. I got some good news last week so I celebrated by treating myself to some new books. This was one of them. I’m a few chapters in and I’m enjoying the hot mess Finlay Donovan is and the hot water she ends up in.
