Sometimes it hard to get out of bed in the morning. Case in point. One sleepy Susie while the rest of us were up and about…okay, Billy wasn’t up and about really, he was lounging on the sofa in the living room. Our Shih-Tzus really aren’t morning dogs. I guess that’s a good thing.

Happy Saturday! It’s a beautiful day here and in a few minutes the pups and I are heading out for a walk. They could use a little exercise. Right?

I’ve started putting out the Christmas decorations. I love this polar bear I picked up on an annual day hiking trip to Kent, Connecticut. Each October a friend and I head up to Kent to hike, have lunch and do a little shopping.

After I finish decorating and we come back from our walk, I’ll be working on my manuscript revision. What are you up today?

From our after Thanksgiving dinner walk. The weather was unseasonably warm so the pups didn’t need their pumpkin sweaters.

I’m getting ready for our Christmas cards so I did a little photo shoot with Susie & Billy. They are easily distracted, difficult to keep still and Billy kept “giving paw” so he could get a treat. While it was a challenge, it was a whole lot of fun. I found a faux fur jacket for Susie at TJ Maxx. I couldn’t resist. 🙂 Here are some of the photos that won’t be making it on the cards.
